Direct answer
It records vibration and phase, calculates correction mass and angle from trial runs, displays overall and 1× vibration plus FFT spectra, and stores sessions for reports or repeat work.
The local 2.3.7.0 manual specifies Windows 7/8/10/11, a USB connection and measurement-unit firmware 5.5.0 or newer. Check the versions in the main window before updating. A laptop is not included with the instrument.
Modern and classic balancing forms are selected in F4 Settings. Both use the same initial/trial/verification sequence. Balanset-1A is limited to two channels and two correction planes.
One- to four-plane workflows calculate correction mass and angular position from measured influence.
Track overall and rotational-frequency vibration together with the phase reference.
Inspect frequency content before assuming the dominant fault is imbalance.
See amplitude and phase as a vector for easier interpretation of rotor response.
Store sessions and reuse controlled influence data for identical production rotors.
Keep measured values and balancing results for maintenance records and handover.
