Application guide
Balancing rotors and crushers in their own bearings
Heavy rotors require disciplined inspection and repeatable runs because looseness, worn tools, material buildup and structural resonance can imitate imbalance.

Direct answer
Can a crusher rotor be field balanced?
A mechanically sound rigid crusher rotor can be balanced in place when stable speed, safe access and secure correction locations are available. Diagnose impacts and looseness before treating the 1× component as imbalance.
Before the first run
Mechanical checks come first
- Inspect hammers, liners, rotor disks, keys, couplings and bearings.
- Remove material buildup and correct loose or damaged components first.
- Compare overall vibration with the 1× component and inspect the spectrum for impacts or harmonics.

Order of work
A controlled balancing sequence
- 01
Establish a guarded test condition with repeatable material load or no-load operation.
- 02
Measure at rigid bearing locations in consistent directions.
- 03
Use a trial mass small enough for safety but large enough to create a clear response.
- 04
Calculate and install correction only when amplitude and phase readings are repeatable.
- 05
Verify at the operating condition and stop if vibration or mechanical noise becomes unstable.

Just write what machine you have — a fan, a crusher, a pump, anything that rotates. Our engineers will take it from there and confirm the right setup before you order.
